Life in the womb kicking and nudging
to mark its cherished presence felt
Getting ready in the transition to take on the world
A self centred existance stands to be erased
A life of unconditional loving beckons ahead
As the weary past slowly sheds like old skin
ready to receive the fresh new life within
A transition from one body to another. A rebirth.
For the woman bearing life
For the life growing inside
I wait for the moment of reckoning
